Mr. Hip Presents: Reading Series: Lyrics, Love & Loss Reading

Join Mr. Hip Presents, one of Boston’s most interactive and engaging poetry reading series at Uforge Gallery. An evening infused with art, poetry/spoken word and music hosted by Donald Vincent a.k.a. (@Mr_Hip). $8 admission at the door
Mr. Hip Presents: Reading Series is back for its February installment on the 27th of this month. February is full of everything from the Superbowl, Black History Month, Valentine's Day, you name it.

Come celebrate poetry with us at Uforge Gallery in Jamaica Plain with live music provided by Jordan Carter and DeShawn D'Vibes Alexander. Poets that will be reading at this event are Anna Ross, Jabari Asim, Daniel Bouchard, Jesse Bradley (Virtual), and Jim Henle.

This reading series was developed in order to bridge Boston’s art community to the many different voices this city has and also to provide a commonplace for artists to share their talents and work. Providing a welcoming space for young voices, Mr. Hip Presents also encourages youth participants. We are excited for this upcoming event at Uforge Gallery in conjunction its Partners in Residence program.

This will be a fun event for all ages, whether they like poetry or not. The evening features some phenomenal poets, prizes, surprises, and all-around fun. We can't think of anything hipper to do on a Saturday evening.

Come be hip.
